A building belonging to the Nigerian Navy in Abuja on Saturday morning collapsed killing one person and trapping many others.
Rescue workers are currently digging through the rubbles to rescue those trapped inside the lower level of the building.
The rescue workers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) told Channels Television reporter that three people have been evacuated and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The building is located in Gwarimpa, acclaimed to be the largest residential estate in Nigeria.
