Borussia Monchengladbach’s attacker, Juan Arango, has claimed
that he is deadlier that Cristiano Ronado from free kicks. The Venezuelan
scored in the 79th minute from a set piece last Saturday, as his club defeated
Hoffenheim 2-1 at home. And he has argued that he’s on the same level with the
Real Madrid forward.
“I do not need to hide behind Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of
free kicks. Last season he scored two direct free-kick goals – I scored three.
And this season, I want more – it’s a goal of mine,” Arango told Bild.
“I don’t need to remain behind for half an hour after
training to practice. I just need a few minutes. I just know how to do it.”
